My Natural Manicure

by - July 17, 2019

I am so obsessed with One Direction that every time I see 'nail paint' I think someone just mispronounced Niall.

Welcome to my blog! I am a total nail-care person, but i not the best when it comes to doing my nails. I do my nails when I am bored or low or when I just wanna pamper myself. I think good nails are important and they add up to your daymm personality. If painted nails aren't allowed at your workplace or you don't wanna paint them this time, I gotchuu! Today I'll talk 'bout "natural nail manicure" and how I do it. I do this at home, all on my own. I do this occasionally. Right now I have vacations. So I am painting them and spending more time on my nails. So I am not really doing this now. But a day before starting my college, I am def gonna go for this routine.
Everything mentioned will be linked at the end, like always.
let's dive in!

step 01

I begin by taking any nail paint residue off from my nails. Currently, I have a nail paint remover by Colorbar and I really liked it. This is the second bottle. I put it in a pump bottle that I got from Club Factory. Even when I am not having any nail paint on, I clean my nails with nail paint remover just to get rid of any dirt from my nails.

step 02

Then I take my nail file and shape my nails. I like to keep it natural. My nails are round and they are quite broad naturally, but I'd love to shape them almond someday!

step 03

Then I grab my nail care/file kit . It has three files-all for three unique jobs.

#1. CLEAN. This file is to clean and whiten your nails. Gently rub it over your nail bed and you'll see it whitening. When I did it for the first time, I was stunned. I never knew my nails could ever be this bright!

#2. CONDITION. As the name says, this one is to condition your nails and make them smooth. Like the first one, gently rub this file on your nail bed (then touch it to feel the smoothness!)

#3. SHINE. This is the last step. Gently rub this file on your nail beds and it will give really natural shine to them. I really liked how these files work and as I said, all have a unique job so none of them should be skipped.

step 04

Then I take Nykaa Nail Care7-in-1 Nail Spa and apply 2 coats of it on my nails. It protects your nails and conditions them. It's transparent/ milky in shade.
Lastly, I put nail cuticle oil on my nails and moisturized my hands w my fav hand creme.

That's all that I do! It's so easy, isn't it? Here's the checklist of the products you'll need:
